January the first month of 2023, the year of optimism, opportunity and belief. We welcome all our new and old readers to 2023 and praying for new beginnings. The immense support and belief we have received can only continue to new heights.

This year our plan is to expand our Hospital and create further awareness. We want to ensure that our Hospital can facilitate to every one and deliver on its promises. BBCGH was built to ensure the less fortunate in society can rely on a good medical facility, one which they will not be turned away from regardless of their financial status. Since the opening of BBCGH we have managed to facilitate thousands of patients with various medical needs. Alhamdulilah! This has been possible due to your continuous donations and endless prayers and support. We thank you and our patients for continually placing their trust in BBCGH.

Hope the New Year brings peace, love and harmony to your homes. This year we are hoping to expand our services and extend our outreach programmes. Although we are all still fearing about the deadly disease Corona it is even more important to ensure the most vulnerable in society are not left unattended. Our mission is to ensure we provide safe medical services and remain open during this critical period.

‘Lets Beat Cancer’ our campaign to help beat cancer, stand up for our people and support them along their personal journey. This month we are continually rallying around the UK with various fundraising initiatives to ensure we raise as much funds as possible building a secure pot to service the underprivileged in society. BB Cancer & General Hospitals survival depends on donations and sponsorship and at each event we have managed to draw in more generous supporters keen to help and make a transformation. Due to our Poor Fund system we were able to service 41776 general patients in Bangladesh and provide specialist cancer treatments to 1257 patients.

We look back at this months events with planning and time we can proudly say we are on the road to helping more and more patients obtain the life changing cancer and general treatments they desperately crave. Since opening hospital doors we have been able to facilitate to 42,739 cancer and general patients Alhamdulilah! Credit to all our Donors, Sponsors and Trustees for continually believing in our work and donating towards the less privileged and helping us facilitate to the needy for the years to come.

We count our blessings each day for making the Hospital a reality and dream for those suffering silently. We at BB Cancer & General Hospital understand that no two cancers are the same and nor is each patients diagnosis and journey. We reflect on why we chose to take this path and the personal suffering we have all felt from seeing loved ones suffer with cancer and losing their battle through this deadly disease. Its for the people, for their voice, a chance for them to feel relief that we got this and we got them. With your help we have made this possible for thousands and we cannot thank our Trustees and Donors enough for we are indebted to them for continuing to fund vital life saving treatments all across Bangladesh.

This month has been a mixed of emotions for Beani Bazar Cancer & General Hospital with flourishing partnerships and endless level of love and support from kind and generous supporters wanting to make a difference. We have been busy at the Hospital grounds maintaining a first rate service and here in the UK working our hardest to create a steady financial flow for our Poor Fund.

July has seen a rise of many opportunities, partnerships and new ventures. Our promise to the destitute people of Bangladesh we will not give up on them and be their voice in their darkest hours. BBCGH since opening its Hospital doors has treated patients in the thousands region. We have set up several Medical Camps to reach people in rural areas, provide medical care and vital medication. We hope to expand our services all over Bangladesh.

The month of June concentrates on men’s health, with many suffering from prostrate, testicular and breast cancer. It is also a month recognising all the hero’s that have survived and now are an inspiration to many that have been recently diagnosed and undergoing treatment. Bangladesh at 142 million people, is the ninth most populous country in the world. There are 13-15000 cancer patients in Bangladesh with about 2000 patients newly diagnosed with cancer each year. As an overview, lung cancer and mouth-oropharynx cancer rank as the top two prevalent cancers in male.

With sunny days approaching and flowers blooming beautifully we hope this month to lift the spirits of many all over the world. This month we ask all our readers to remember in prayer our brothers and sisters suffering all around the world. Palestinian Ummah crying for help. Ever since the pandemic hit the UK many charities, businesses and personal income sources have seen a decline with some facing closures, emotional decline and with no one to turn to. The past year has been a tragedy with many losing their loved ones and finding it difficult to pull them self out and work towards a positive outcome.
