February has been quite an eventful month and we ask you to stay tuned and follow our journey to build a fully comprehensive Cancer & General Medical Unit, to serve those that desperately require medical attention. We begin this year with Bismillah, we say Alhamdulilah for what is to come and what is gone by.
Our fundraising plans steaming ahead, coming to eateries, mosques and at community events near you. Be part of history, be part of the future and help us raise a steady platform for those that are in desperate need for medical attention. Our free medical service for the underprivileged in society scheme has been running since hospital doors opened and we are appealing for a mobile medical transporter aiming to reach patients suffering all across Bangladesh with no access to safe medical care. Biani Bazar Cancer & General Hospital (BBCGH) would like to invite you to a networking and fundraising event called ‘Let’s Beat Cancer’ (LBC) which willl take place on:
Date: Sunday 3rd October 2021

Location: Kuti’s Brasserie, Royal Pier, Mayflower Park, Southampton, S014 2AQ
The event will focus on the dire situation of cancer patients due to financial restraints and a lack of awareness. The Covid-19 pandemic has made the situation more vulnerable for patients. Regular check-ups have been interrupted, long term treatments stopped and new patients are waiting to be treated.
You will be glad to hear that as a British Bangladeshi led charity, BBCGH was at the forefront during this incredibly challenging time. Our ‘Poor Funds’ initiative has ensured that patients who needed financial assistance were also given the opportunity to receive the most needed funds. We must also however stress that this wouldn’t have been possible without your continuous donations and support.
The event on 3rd October will highlight the current services and challenges of BBCGH as well as future projects. Alhamdulilah we have been super busy and active with our charity. The hospital itself has delivered its first baby by C section and we are all overjoyed. The hospital services provided to the less fortunate people of Bangladesh has been busier than ever and we are taking in more patients and providing initial diagnosis. We are continually holding Free Medical camps through Donor and Trustee sponsorships and are now visiting various districts of Bangladesh.
